FBI Searches for Man Who Brought Child to Fort Worth Bank Robbery

FORT WORTH, TX — The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect who allegedly brought a young child along while robbing a bank in Fort Worth.

The unusual robbery took place on June 13, 2024. According to federal investigators, the adult male suspect walked into the financial institution accompanied by a child. He approached the bank teller and demanded cash, implying or presenting a threat. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect walked out of the bank with the child and fled the scene.

Security cameras caught clear images of the man and the child, which the FBI has released to the public in hopes of generating leads. Investigators expressed serious concern over the suspect's decision to bring a child to a potentially dangerous crime scene, noting the extreme risk it posed to the minor's safety.

The FBI's Dallas Field Office is leading the investigation in close coordination with the Fort Worth Police Department. Anyone with information regarding the identity or location of the suspect is strongly encouraged to submit a tip.
