Intruder Fatally Shot by Fort Worth Homeowner in Garage Break-In

FORT WORTH, Texas — A confrontation at a Fort Worth residence ended in a fatality on Tuesday afternoon when a homeowner shot and killed a man attempting to break into a locked garage.

The shooting occurred on January 13, 2026, prompting a swift response from the Fort Worth Police Department. Officers arrived to find a male suspect suffering from fatal gunshot wounds on the property.
