Thieves Smash Truck Into Fresno Schwinn Store to Steal Electric Bikes

FRESNO, California — A Northeast Fresno business was the target of a brazen smash-and-grab heist when thieves slammed a truck directly into the storefront to steal high-end electric bikes.

The incident, which occurred at the local Fresno Schwinn store, was captured on security cameras. The surveillance footage shows a truck reversing or driving directly into the building's entrance, shattering the glass doors and compromising the structural storefront. Within minutes, multiple suspects entered the damaged store, grabbed valuable electric bikes, and loaded them into the vehicle before fleeing the scene.

Store owners and local police reported that the heist resulted in thousands of dollars in losses, both from the stolen merchandise and the extensive damage to the building. Fresno Police are currently reviewing the camera footage in an effort to identify the suspect vehicle and those involved in the robbery.
