Security Cameras Capture Robbery at Fresno Family Dollar Store

FRESNO, California — Law enforcement officers in Fresno are investigating a robbery at a local Family Dollar retail store after the entire incident was captured on the store's high-definition security cameras.

The robbery took place on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. According to police reports, an unidentified suspect entered the retail store, approached the cashier counter, and demanded cash. The suspect then fled the premises with an undisclosed amount of money from the register.

Surveillance Footage Released

The store's surveillance system captured clear images of the suspect during the encounter. Fresno Police Department detectives have released portions of the video footage and still images to the media and the public in hopes that someone will recognize the individual.

No injuries were reported among the staff or customers who were present in the store during the incident. Police patrols have been temporarily increased around commercial shopping plazas in the area to reassure local business owners and shoppers.
