Suspect Arrested for Stealing High-Value Lego Sets from Fresno and Clovis Target Stores

FRESNO, California — A man has been arrested and faces grand theft charges after allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of high-value Lego building sets from Target stores in Fresno and neighboring Clovis.

Target security personnel and local police departments had been tracking a series of thefts targeting the popular toy brand over several weeks. The suspect reportedly walked out of multiple locations with carts loaded with premium Lego kits, which carry high resale value on secondary markets.

Police caught up with the suspect during a theft attempt, arresting him without incident. The recovered merchandise was returned to the retailers. Investigators are looking into whether the suspect is connected to a larger organized retail theft ring operating in the Central Valley.
