Thieves Steal Heavy Safe in Overnight Glendale Butcher Shop Burglary

GLENDALE, California — Authorities are investigating a commercial burglary at a Glendale butcher shop after thieves broke into the business overnight and made off with a heavy safe.

The incident, which took place on December 21, 2025, involved suspects who breached the shop's security under the cover of darkness. Once inside, the perpetrators managed to locate and extract a heavy-duty safe containing undisclosed valuables or cash, hauling it away from the scene.

Glendale police responded to the business following the discovery of the break-in. Investigators are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the shop and neighboring businesses in an attempt to identify the suspects and trace the escape vehicle.
