USPS Offers $150,000 Reward After Mail Carrier Robbed in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspects involved in the robbery of a postal letter carrier in Greensboro. The incident occurred on June 24, 2024, amid what officials describe as a concerning regional and national spike in robberies targeting postal employees.

According to investigators, the letter carrier was targeted while performing daily mail delivery duties. While no serious injuries were reported, the suspects fled the scene with postal keys and mail, which are often used in identity theft and check fraud schemes.
