Bridal Shop Break-Ins in Greenville and Belding Not Connected, Police Determine

GREENVILLE, Michigan — Recent break-ins targeting bridal shops in Greenville and neighboring Belding are not connected, according to an investigation by local police departments.

Unrelated Bridal Shop Burglaries

The investigations began after two bridal shops in the neighboring West Michigan communities reported break-ins within a short timeframe. The similarities in the businesses targeted led to concerns that a single group or individual might be targeting bridal boutiques across the region. However, after comparing evidence and modus operandi from both scenes, detectives concluded that the incidents are entirely separate occurrences.
