Hampton Police Search for Suspects in Vape Shop Burglary

HAMPTON, Va. — Hampton police detectives are seeking information to identify suspects involved in commercial burglary at a local vape shop. The incident occurred during the early morning hours, resulting in stolen inventory and damage to the store front.

According to the Hampton Police Division, the suspects forced their way inside the business and quickly loaded multiple vape devices, E-liquids, and electronic accessories into bags before fleeing the scene. Officers responded to an activated business alarm, but the perpetrators had already left the area.

Surveillance Video Released

Investigators are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the store, which shows the suspects wearing dark clothing and masks. Police hope that releasing details about the incident will prompt someone with knowledge of the crime or the suspects' identities to step forward.

“We are asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity or vehicles in the vicinity of the shop to contact us,” a police spokesperson said. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the local crime line, where contributors may be eligible for a cash reward if their information leads to an arrest.
