Two Charged in L Street Tavern Burglary at Hampton Beach, Owner Decries "Inside Job"

HAMPTON BEACH, N.H. — Two individuals are facing charges after a burglary at the well-known L Street Tavern on Hampton Beach. The owner of the establishment has publically characterized the heist as an "inside job," pointing to the suspect's familiarity with the tavern's layout and security systems.

Hampton Police officers arrested the two suspects following a detailed investigation into the break-in, which occurred overnight. The incident resulted in the theft of cash and property, causing distress to the tavern's management and staff ahead of the busy beach season.
