Gunshot Victim Seeks Urgent Help at Houston Gas Station Following Robbery

HOUSTON, Texas — A robbery turned violent on January 7, 2024, leaving a victim injured by gunfire and seeking emergency assistance at a local gas station. The incident has prompted an investigation by Houston police as they seek to identify the perpetrators.

According to initial reports, the victim was targeted in an armed robbery in the vicinity. During the confrontation, the suspect discharged a weapon, striking the victim. Despite sustaining a gunshot wound, the victim was able to travel to a nearby gas station to plead for help from employees and bystanders.

Store employees immediately contacted emergency services. Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital for medical treatment. The current condition of the victim has not been released to the public.

Police cordoned off the area around the gas station and the suspected scene of the robbery to collect physical evidence. Investigators are currently interviewing witnesses and checking area cameras to trace the suspect's movements before and after the shooting.
