Clumsy Robber Fumbles Gun, Slips and Falls in Failed Houston Convenience Store Robbery

HOUSTON, Texas — A convenience store robbery attempt in Houston failed in spectacular fashion after a clumsy suspect fumbled his firearm and slipped repeatedly on the store floor.

According to the Houston Police Department, the suspect entered the store brandishing a handgun. However, the attempt went downhill immediately as the suspect struggled to maintain control of his weapon. In a moment captured on clear security footage, the suspect fumbled the gun, causing it to slip from his grasp.

Slips and Falls on Camera

As the suspect tried to recover his weapon, he lost his footing on the slick convenience store floor, falling hard onto the ground. The video shows him scrambling to gather his gun and his composure, only to slip again in his haste. The shopkeeper, realizing the suspect was entirely disoriented by his own clumsiness, remained safe behind the counter as the suspect gave up and fled the scene.
