Houston police looking for 3 suspects after clerk shot and killed in apparent robbery at gas station on Gulf Freeway near Monroe

HOUSTON, Texas — The Houston Police Department is asking for public assistance in identifying three individuals suspected of robbing a gas station and injuring the store clerk on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

The incident occurred at a service station located along the Gulf Freeway near the Monroe Road intersection. According to investigators, the three suspects entered the store with the intent of committing a robbery. During the course of the crime, the store clerk was physically harmed by the suspects before they fled the scene with undisclosed cash and merchandise.

Emergency medical services responded to the scene to treat the injured clerk. Police have released description details of the suspects, noting that they appeared to act in a coordinated manner.
