According to local law enforcement, the incident began in Indianapolis, where suspects stole a passenger vehicle. The vehicle was then driven approximately 40 miles northeast to Anderson, Indiana. Suspects deliberately crashed the stolen car through the front entrance of a local gun shop, bypassing structural security measures to gain access to the showroom.
