Suspect Arrested in String of Robberies Targeting Walmart and Kroger Stores Across Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS โ€” Authorities have apprehended a suspect believed to be responsible for a series of recent robberies at Walmart and Kroger grocery stores across the Indianapolis metropolitan area, police confirmed on Tuesday.

According to investigators, the suspect targeted multiple retail and grocery locations over several weeks, threatening employees and demanding cash. The pattern of robberies prompted a coordinated response from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD), leading to the suspect's identification and subsequent arrest on December 10, 2024.

Detectives are currently reviewing security footage and interviewing witnesses from the targeted stores to determine if the suspect is connected to other unsolved incidents in the region. Charges are expected to be filed soon by the Marion County Prosecutor's Office.
