Tragedy in Indianapolis: Man Released from Jail Commits Fatal Carjacking at Nearby Gas Station

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — A shocking and tragic incident unfolded on the city's west side when a man, shortly after being released from custody, allegedly shot and killed a driver during a carjacking at a nearby gas station.

According to court documents filed by the Marion County Prosecutor's Office, the suspect had just walked out of the local detention facility when he walked over to a nearby gas station.
