One Shot, $50,000 Stolen in Northwest Indianapolis Home Invasion

INDIANAPOLIS โ€” A home invasion on the northwest side of Indianapolis on February 23, 2026, resulted in one person being shot and the theft of approximately $50,000 worth of property. Police say armed suspects forced their way into the residence, confronting the occupants before opening fire and ransacking the home.

Emergency medical personnel transported the gunshot victim to a nearby hospital, where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The suspects fled the scene with jewelry, electronics, and cash before officers arrived. Detectives are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
