Hamilton County Out-on-Bond Suspect Arrested After Indianapolis Auto Shop Robbery and Police Pursuit
INDIANAPOLIS โ A suspect who was out on bond from neighboring Hamilton County is back in custody after allegedly robbing an auto repair store in Indianapolis and leading local police on a vehicle pursuit.

The incident began when officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to an emergency call reporting a robbery in progress at an auto repair facility. According to employees, the suspect entered the business, demanded valuables, and fled the scene in a vehicle shortly before police arrived.
High-Speed Pursuit Ends in Arrest
IMPD officers quickly spotted the suspect's vehicle nearby and attempted a traffic stop. The driver refused to pull over, initiating a pursuit that spanned several miles. The chase eventually ended when officers managed to safely stop the vehicle and arrest the driver without further incident.
Following his arrest, investigators confirmed that the suspect was currently out on bond for separate, active charges in Hamilton County. He now faces new charges in Marion County, including robbery, resisting law enforcement, and traffic violations, alongside potential revocation of his previous bond.
