Las Vegas Woman Arrested in Irvine After Alleged Multi-State Ulta Beauty Theft Spree

IRVINE, CA — A Las Vegas woman has been arrested in Irvine under suspicion of retail theft at a local Ulta Beauty store, exposing a larger organized retail crime spree spanning multiple states.

According to the Irvine Police Department, officers responded to a call regarding a shoplifting incident at an Ulta Beauty retail location. Upon arriving, police detained a female suspect from Las Vegas. A subsequent investigation revealed that the suspect was not only responsible for the immediate theft but was also wanted in connection with a series of high-value thefts targeting Ulta locations across Nevada and Arizona.

The suspect is believed to be part of an organized retail theft ring operating across state lines, specializing in high-end cosmetics and perfumes. Police recovered thousands of dollars worth of beauty products from her possession during the arrest.

The suspect faces charges of grand theft and organized retail crime in California, with additional warrants and extradition requests pending from law enforcement agencies in Nevada and Arizona. Irvine Police Chief commended the officers for their quick response and collaboration with out-of-state agencies to halt the multi-state operation.
