JACKSONVILLE, FL โ€” A disturbance and attempted commercial theft at a local Burger King on Lem Turner Boulevard ended with a suspect behind bars after police units quickly responded to the scene.

The incident occurred in early June 2025, when police officers were dispatched to the fast-food restaurant following reports of a commercial disturbance. According to authorities, the suspect caused a significant disruption inside the establishment and attempted to steal property before being detained by responding officers. The quick response of law enforcement prevented further escalation and secured the scene.

Records indicate that the suspect was subsequently arrested and faces charges related to the disturbance and attempted theft. No injuries to staff or customers were reported during the incident. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the attempted theft.
