Police Release Additional Surveillance Photos of Kansas City, Kansas Bank Robbery Suspect

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department (KCKPD) has released new surveillance photographs of a suspect and a getaway vehicle in connection with a recent bank robbery, appealing to the public for help in identifying the individual.

The robbery took place at a local financial institution in KCK on February 5, 2025. According to police reports, the suspect entered the bank, demanded money from the teller, and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. Surveillance images capture a detailed view of the suspect's clothing and physical stature, along with clear shots of the vehicle used during the escape.

The suspect is described as a medium-built individual wearing dark clothing and a mask to obscure their facial features. The getaway vehicle appears to be a late-model sedan, and police are asking anyone who might recognize the car or have seen it idling in the vicinity of the bank around the time of the incident to come forward.

"Community cooperation is vital in resolving these types of cases," said a KCKPD representative. "Even the smallest detail could be the key to identifying the suspect." Authorities encourage anyone with information to contact the KCKPD detective bureau or submit an anonymous tip through the local TIPS Hotline. A cash reward may be available for information leading to an arrest.
