Stolen Vehicle Rams Brookside CVS Pharmacy in Destructive Attempted Burglary

KANSAS CITY, Missouri — A CVS pharmacy in the Brookside neighborhood of Kansas City sustained extensive structural damage after suspects rammed a stolen vehicle directly through the store's front entrance in a failed burglary attempt.

The incident occurred in the early morning hours, part of a suspected string of similar vehicle-ramming commercial thefts across the metro area. According to the Kansas City Police Department, the suspect or suspects used a vehicle—later determined to be stolen—as a battering ram to breach the pharmacy's security shutters and glass storefront.
