Suspects in Killeen Calc Stone Drive Robbery and Shooting Identified

KILLEEN, Texas โ€” Two suspects have been identified and arrested by the Killeen Police Department's Robbery-Homicide Unit following a violent aggravated robbery and shooting that occurred in the 5600 block of Calc Stone Drive.

Violent Carjacking on Calc Stone Drive

The incident occurred on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at approximately 9:12 a.m. Officers arrived at the scene to find a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim reported that he was approached by two individuals who demanded his vehicle and personal belongings at gunpoint. During the confrontation, the suspects opened fire, striking the victim, before fleeing the area in the victim's stolen vehicle.

The victim was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas, for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury and is expected to recover.

Suspects Formally Charged

Following a rapid investigation, detectives identified the suspects as 18-year-old Romelo DiCaprio Brown and 19-year-old Amya Jana Henderson. Both were located and taken into custody shortly after. Brown and Henderson have been charged with aggravated robbery, and each is currently being held at the Bell County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
