Overnight Pet Store Burglary Causes $3,000 in Damages and Puts Exotic Animals at Risk

KILLEEN, Texas — A local pet store in Killeen is recovering from a destructive overnight burglary that left thousands of dollars in property damage and threatened the lives of sensitive exotic animals housed inside the store.

The break-in, which occurred in late December 2025, resulted in approximately $3,000 in physical damages. Perpetrators broke through the store's entry points and ransacked the interior.
