Suspect Arrested After 83-Year-Old Lakewood Woman Strangled to Death in Home Burglary

LAKEWOOD, Wash. — A tragic home burglary in Lakewood has culminated in a murder charge after an 83-year-old resident was found dead inside her residence. Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the crime, which occurred in early December 2025.

According to court affidavits and police reports, officers responded to the victim's home on December 7, 2025, to investigate a suspected break-in. Upon entering the home, they discovered the body of the elderly woman.
