Lakewood Police Search for Suspects in Assault of Arc Thrift Store Employee

LAKEWOOD, N.J. — The Lakewood Police Department is actively searching for a suspect and multiple accomplices following an assault on an employee at the Arc Thrift Store. The incident occurred on November 14, 2025, during what appeared to be an attempted theft or altercation inside the retail store.

Police report that the confrontation began when the thrift store employee attempted to intervene during a suspicious incident. A physical altercation ensued, during which the employee was assaulted by the main suspect while the accomplices facilitated the escape. The suspects fled the scene before officers arrived. The injured employee was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are currently reviewing security camera footage from the store and surrounding businesses. Police have requested that anyone with information regarding the identity or whereabouts of the primary suspect and accomplices contact the department's criminal investigations division immediately.
