ATF and Police Offer $10,000 Reward Following Lancaster Gun Store Burglaries

LANCASTER, Pennsylvania — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and local police departments have partnered to offer a joint reward of up to $10,000 for tips that aid the investigation of two recent burglaries at a Lancaster area gun store.

Federal authorities emphasize the urgent nature of the case, highlighting the potential danger when stolen firearms enter the illegal market. The two commercial break-ins resulted in the theft of multiple firearms, prompting immediate action from federal and local task forces.

“We are asking the community to look closely at any security footage or report any suspicious activity,” a spokesperson stated. The $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of those responsible, as well as the recovery of the stolen weapons.

Members of the public can submit tips confidentially by phone or through the ATF's online portal. Law enforcement officials reiterate that even seemingly minor details could prove critical to resolving the case.
