Laredo Police Arrest Man for Burglary and Theft at San Bernardo Avenue Pawn Shop

LAREDO, Texas — Authorities have arrested a local man in connection with a break-in and theft at a pawn shop located on San Bernardo Avenue. The suspect is facing charges of burglary of a building and theft of property following a prompt response by patrol officers and subsequent investigation by the Laredo Police Department.

The incident occurred in the early morning hours when an alarm system triggered at the retail pawn shop. Laredo police dispatchers quickly alerted units in the area, who arrived within minutes. Upon inspection, officers discovered forced entry through a rear door and observed that several display cases had been shattered.
