Juvenile Suspect Arrested After Alleged Armed Robbery at Laredo Bakery

LAREDO, Texas — A 16-year-old juvenile has been taken into custody by the Laredo Police Department for allegedly committing a robbery at a bakery. The incident sparked concern in the neighborhood before police identified and detained the minor suspect.

According to police statements, officers responded to a local bakery in Laredo following reports of a robbery. Employees reported that a young male entered the establishment, threatened staff, and demanded cash from the register. The suspect then fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Through investigative efforts and review of security camera footage, detectives were able to identify the juvenile. He was arrested shortly thereafter and faces charges of robbery. Due to his age, the suspect's identity has not been released, and he is being held in a juvenile detention facility.
