Police Investigate Car Theft and Multiple Vehicle Break-Ins at Summerlin Country Club

LAS VEGAS, NV — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police detectives are investigating a wave of vehicle-related crimes at a prominent country club in the Summerlin neighborhood, raising security concerns among members and local residents.

The incident, which occurred late Monday, involved the theft of at least one vehicle and several attempted break-ins of other cars parked on the country club premises. Security personnel reported seeing suspicious individuals browsing the parking lot before the break-ins were discovered.

According to the police, the suspects managed to bypass security locks on one vehicle, driving off with it before officers could arrive. Additionally, multiple vehicle owners reported damage to their car windows and door locks, indicating unsuccessful attempts to gain entry to other high-end vehicles parked nearby.

Police are currently collecting surveillance footage from the country club's security systems and analyzing forensic evidence from the damaged vehicles. LVMPD has advised residents and visitors in the Summerlin area to ensure their vehicles are locked, parked in well-lit areas, and that no valuables are left inside.
