Man Charged After Robbery at Las Vegas Gas Station

A man has been arrested and formally charged by prosecutors following a robbery at a local gas station in Las Vegas. The incident, which occurred late at night, involved the suspect demanding money from the store cashier while implying he possessed a weapon.

Fearing for their safety, the cashier complied with the demands and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. The suspect then fled the establishment on foot. Responding officers secured the perimeter and, using descriptions provided by the store employee, located the suspect a few blocks away from the scene.

The suspect was taken into custody without further incident. He has been booked into the local detention center and faces charges of robbery and theft. The cash stolen from the convenience store was recovered during the arrest.
