Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Seek Public Assistance to Identify Southwest Valley Burglary Suspect

LAS VEGAS, NV — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) is requesting assistance from the community to identify a suspect in connection with a residential burglary that took place in the southwest valley region.

According to authorities, the incident occurred at a private residence in the southwest portion of the Las Vegas valley. The suspect allegedly gained unauthorized access to the property and fled the scene with personal items. Investigators are analyzing local surveillance footage and interviewing neighbors to piece together the events surrounding the break-in.

Police have released descriptions of the suspect and are urging anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area around January 9, 2026, or who has any relevant information or private security footage, to contact the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Burglary Section. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers of Nevada to assist in the investigation.
