Lincoln Crime Stoppers Seek Suspects in Gateway Mall Tablet Theft and Brewsky’s Break-In

LINCOLN, Nebraska — Lincoln Crime Stoppers and the Lincoln Police Department are seeking assistance from the community to identify the individuals responsible for two recent criminal incidents in the city.

Gateway Mall Theft

The first incident occurred at the Gateway Mall, where suspects targeted a retail kiosk and successfully stole multiple tablets. Police have reviewed surveillance footage from the mall, showing individuals executing the theft during business hours before fleeing the scene. Officers are hoping that members of the public can identify the suspects from newly released security photos.

Brewsky's Commercial Break-in

In a separate incident, investigators are also looking into a commercial burglary at Brewsky’s, a popular local sports bar and grill in Lincoln. According to preliminary reports, suspect(s) forced entry into the establishment after closing hours, causing property damage and stealing cash and other assets. Detectives are currently gathering forensic evidence and security video footage from neighboring businesses in the area.
