Single Suspect Linked to Overnight Burglaries at Two Lincoln Businesses

LINCOLN, Nebraska — Investigators with the Lincoln Police Department believe that a single suspect is responsible for a pair of commercial burglaries that occurred at two separate Lincoln businesses during the same overnight period.

According to police statements, both incidents took place during the overnight hours between Sunday night and early Monday morning, April 20, 2026. In both cases, the perpetrator used force to break in, targeting the cash drawers and valuable items before fleeing the scene.

Due to the similarity in the entry methods, the close geographic proximity of the two businesses, and the narrow time frame in which the burglaries occurred, detectives are treating the cases as connected. Surveillance video from both locations is being cross-referenced to help identify the individual involved.

Police have released descriptions of the suspect obtained from security cameras and are urging local business owners to secure their premises, leave exterior lights on, and report any suspicious individuals loitering near commercial plazas overnight.
