Serial Retail Theft Crew Targets Nike Store in Long Beach Shopping Center

LONG BEACH, CA — A group of serial thieves targeted the Nike store at the popular 2ND & PCH shopping center in Long Beach, making off with thousands of dollars in stolen merchandise, police confirmed on August 1, 2024.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, the theft crew entered the retail location and rapidly gathered a large quantity of items before fleeing the scene without paying. Investigators believe this group may be part of an organized retail crime ring operating in the region.
