LONG BEACH, CA — An armed robbery suspect who triggered a massive 12-hour SWAT standoff at a local 7-Eleven has been arrested by the Long Beach Police Department, officials announced. The incident began on September 23, 2025, when the armed individual barricaded himself inside the convenience store.

A heavily armed SWAT team, negotiators, and emergency personnel surrounded the location, attempting to resolve the situation peacefully. However, despite the intense perimeter, the suspect managed to escape the containment area before police entered the building, sparking a brief manhunt.
