Robbery Suspect Escapes After Standoff at Long Beach 7-Eleven

LONG BEACH, CA — A tense, hours-long standoff at a local convenience store ended in frustration for law enforcement after a robbery suspect managed to evade police custody. The incident began on September 24, 2025, when police responded to reports of a robbery at a 7-Eleven store in Long Beach.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, the suspect barricaded himself inside the establishment, leading officers to establish a perimeter and call in specialized units.
