Long Beach Donut Shop Burglarized Twice in the Same Night

A small business owner in Long Beach is facing a daunting cleanup and financial loss after their donut shop was burglarized not once, but twice, within a span of just a few hours in the same night.

The First Break-In

The first incident occurred in the early hours of the morning. Security footage showed suspects shattering the glass door of the donut shop to gain entry. Once inside, the burglars targeted the cash register, stealing the cash drawer and quickly fleeing the scene before police could arrive.

Opportunistic Second Looting

Just hours later, before the business could secure the broken storefront, a second break-in occurred. Either returning suspects or new opportunistic thieves noticed the open or damaged entrance and entered the shop again. The secondary intruders ransacked the back office and storage areas, taking additional inventory and electronics.

Call for Security Support

The business owner expressed deep frustration with the rising rate of commercial burglaries and the lack of immediate support to secure targeted locations. Long Beach Police are investigating both incidents and looking into security footage to determine if the two break-ins were committed by the same suspects.
