Mob of Bicycle-Riding Youths Ransack Three Hollywood 7-Eleven Stores

A coordinated series of flash-mob style thefts hit the Hollywood area, as a large group of youths on bicycles targeted three separate 7-Eleven convenience stores in rapid succession. The incidents, which occurred on the same evening, have raised concerns about rising group-related retail crime in the district.

According to witnesses and local authorities, the group rode their bicycles directly up to the convenience stores, entered in large numbers, and quickly overwhelmed the staff.
