Wall-Smashing Burglars Ransack Multiple Downtown Los Angeles Businesses

In a sophisticated and destructive heist, a group of burglars gained entry into multiple neighboring businesses in downtown Los Angeles on August 26, 2024, by physically smashing through interior walls to bypass security systems.

The incident, which occurred overnight, affected several storefronts situated in a commercial block. Instead of forcing entry through the front doors or windows of each individual business, the perpetrators breached a single entry point and then broke through drywall and concrete barriers to access adjoining properties. Once inside, they thoroughly ransacked the establishments, stealing cash registers, electronics, and valuable inventory.
