Two Suspects Break Into Canoga Park Furniture Store, Steal Truck

CANOGA PARK, CA — A furniture store in the Canoga Park neighborhood of Los Angeles was targeted by two burglars who not only broke into the business premises but also managed to drive off with one of the company's vehicles.

The incident took place early on May 21, 2026. Authorities report that the two suspects forced entry into the furniture retail store, triggering an investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department. Surveillance footage reportedly shows the individuals entering through a rear door, moving quickly through the showroom, and heading straight to the administrative offices.

Once inside the office, the suspects ransacked desks and filing cabinets, searching for cash and valuable documents. During their search, they discovered the keys to a delivery truck parked in the store's secure rear loading area. After loading several small high-value items from the store into the vehicle, the suspects boarded the truck and drove through the security gates, heading in an unknown direction.

The stolen truck, which features the company's distinctive branding, has not yet been recovered. Owners of the store are cooperating with detectives, providing security footage and inventory logs to determine the exact value of the stolen goods and property damage. Police are asking local residents and businesses to report any suspicious sightings of commercial vehicles matching the description in the San Fernando Valley area.
