Crook Smashes Way Into Hollywood Cellphone Store

LOS ANGELES, CA — A commercial burglary at a cellphone store in the Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles has left business owners shaken and searching for answers. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of March 29, 2024, was captured on security cameras showing a brazen smash-and-grab entry.

According to reports, the suspect approached the front of the establishment under the cover of darkness. Armed with a heavy tool, the individual smashed through the store's glass storefront window. The shattering glass triggered the building's alarm system, but the perpetrator moved quickly to maximize the haul before law enforcement could arrive.

Once inside, the intruder bypassed the main counter, targeting high-value display models and stock secured in the display cases. Surveillance footage shows the suspect grabbing multiple smartphones and accessories, stuffing them into a bag, and escaping through the shattered front window within less than two minutes.
