Louisville Woman Arrested After Robbing Smoketown Restaurant
LOUISVILLE, KY — A woman has been arrested by the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) following an armed robbery at a restaurant in the historic Smoketown neighborhood. The incident, which unfolded on Wednesday afternoon, shook local patrons and business owners.
According to police reports, the suspect entered the restaurant, brandished a weapon, and demanded cash from the employees. Witnesses stated that the suspect fled the scene on foot immediately after receiving an undisclosed amount of money from the register. No injuries were reported during the encounter.
