Louisville Man Charged with Wilder Park Home Invasion, Stabbing 14-Year-Old, and Attempted Rape

The suspect faces a battery of severe felony charges, including attempted rape, burglary, and assault, after allegedly breaking into a residence and stabbing a teenager who rushed to defend his mother.

Investigators report that the suspect, identified as Fisal Hammad, unlawfully entered the home during the early hours of the morning. Once inside, Hammad allegedly made his way into a bedroom and crawled into bed with a sleeping female resident, initiating an attempted sexual assault.
