Lynchburg Police Seek Public Help Identifying Two Suspects in 7-Eleven Armed Robbery

LYNCHBURG, VA — Authorities in Lynchburg are asking for help from the community to identify two men suspected of executing an armed robbery at a local 7-Eleven convenience store early Sunday morning.

The incident occurred on June 1, 2025, when police received an emergency call regarding an armed robbery in progress. According to the Lynchburg Police Department, two male individuals entered the store, brandished a handgun, and demanded money and merchandise from the employee on duty.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash and items, the two suspects fled the location. The store clerk, who was shaken but physically unharmed, immediately contacted law enforcement. Officers searched the area with K-9 units, but the suspects were not located.

Both suspects are described as wearing dark clothing and face masks. One suspect was carrying a firearm, while the second focused on collecting the cash from the register. Police have released security camera still frames in hopes that members of the community can identify the individuals based on their clothing, stature, or gear.

Police Appeal for Information

Community safety remains a top priority, and Lynchburg officials are asking anyone who may have been in the vicinity of the 7-Eleven during the early morning hours of June 1, or who recognizes the individuals in the security photos, to contact investigators.
