Macon Credit Union Robbed by Woman Who Allegedly Brought a Child

MACON, Georgia — Authorities in Macon are searching for a female suspect who allegedly took the audacious step of bringing a young child along while committing an armed robbery at a local credit union.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, the woman walked into the credit union branch accompanied by the child. She then approached a teller, displayed a weapon or implied she had one, and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed sum, she fled the building with the child in tow.
