Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public Help Identifying New Year’s Eve Armed Robbery Suspect

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is requesting assistance from the public to identify a suspect involved in an armed robbery in downtown Macon on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2023.

According to deputies, the suspect brandished a weapon and demanded money during the incident, which took place in the downtown business district. After securing an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene on foot.
