Bibb County Sheriff's Office Investigates Armed Robbery at Pio Nono Avenue Gas Station

MACON, Georgia — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information from the public to help identify a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a local gas station on Pio Nono Avenue.

According to official reports, the incident occurred at a convenience store and gas station located along the busy Pio Nono Avenue corridor. A male suspect entered the business, brandished a weapon, and demanded cash from the store clerk. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money from the register, the suspect fled the scene on foot before law enforcement arrived.

Deputies responded to the commercial robbery call and immediately secured the area, canvassing for witnesses and security footage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the encounter, though the store employee was shaken by the incident.

Investigators are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the gas station and neighboring businesses. The suspect is described as a male wearing dark clothing. The Sheriff's Office has released images of the individual and is asking anyone with information regarding the suspect's identity or whereabouts to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers.
