Police Investigate Armed Robbery at SSH Mart on Pio Nono Avenue in Macon

MACON, Georgia — An active investigation has been launched by Macon police following an armed robbery at the SSH Mart situated on Pio Nono Avenue on Monday.

Armed Robbery Details

The incident occurred on June 30, 2025, when an unidentified individual entered the SSH Mart convenience store on Pio Nono Avenue. The suspect brandished a weapon and demanded cash from the store employee behind the counter. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of currency, the suspect fled the scene on foot before police could arrive.

Law Enforcement Appeal

Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene, secured the area, and began interviewing witnesses. Detectives are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the store and neighboring businesses to obtain a description of the suspect. No physical injuries were reported by store staff during the robbery.
