Chainsaw Burglary Targets West Madison Jewelry Store

MADISON, Wis. — A west Madison jewelry store was the target of an audacious burglary on Monday, March 31, 2025, after thieves used a chainsaw to break into the establishment and steal high-end merchandise.

According to the Madison Police Department, the incident occurred at a jewelry store located on the city's west side. The suspects utilized a chainsaw to bypass the building's physical security measures, gaining access to the interior. Once inside, they targeted display cases containing valuable, high-end jewelry pieces before fleeing the scene.

Detectives and forensic units were dispatched to the storefront to process the scene for DNA, fingerprints, and tool marks.
